my stay at econo lodge was surprisingly pleasant! the indoor pool and hot tub were wonderful. the location is super convenient, close to everything. the standout service was when they called me about an item I left behind, allowing me to pick it up easily.

For dads, it would be great to have better security features. The doors didn't feel very safe, and I was a bit worried about leaving my kids unguarded in the hallways. Improving exterior lighting and door locks would really help families.

Really enjoyed the clean rooms and fantastic breakfast selection. The pool was perfect for the kids, and the easy early check-in saved our weekend! I’d totally stay here again.

It was a fitting option for a short stay in Brookings and offered decent value for money. The TV worked fine even though it was an old tube model. Consider staying on a higher floor to avoid noise from the pool area.
